During Mark Henry’s tag match, we see Lana and Rusev come down to the ramp, scouting Henry during his match. The match ends when Rusev interferes, causing a DQ.

Later, we are back and Lana is on the mic. She says that today in America, you celebrate Labor Day. You celebrate another day off. That means that you continue to promulgate the concept of educating your youth that it is okay to be entitled, corpulent, and listless. In contrast, in Russia, we celebrated a Day of Knowledge. We promote the education of our youth. In essence, you and your Labor Day . . . you suck.

Match Number Six: Rusev (with Lana) versus Zack Ryder

Ryder with punches to Rusev but Rusev sends Ryder into the corner. Ryder with knees and then he goes for the Rough Ryder but Rusev catches Ryder and he power bombs Ryder. Rusev with a jumping thrust kick followed by the foot to the back and he applies the Accolade and Ryder taps out.

Winner: Rusev

After the match, the Russian flag drops from the rafters and Mark Henry makes his way to the ring but Rusev leaves the ring.

Henry wants to know what is Rusev scared of and why is he running? Henry tells Rusev that he is scared. Scared of what he is going to do if he gets his hands on Rusev. He is the strongest man in the strongest country. That country is the United States of America. Henry tells Rusev to look him in his face because everything he is about to say is what he means. Because you are undefeated, do you think you are invincible? Henry says that he opened an international wing in the Hall of Pain and Rusev is going to be the first inductee.

Back in the ring, Lana and Rusev are front and center. They talk about how great Russia and Vladimir Putin are and then Swagger comes out for a big ol’ match…after the recap the story between these guys.

Submission Match: Rusev vs. Jack Swagger

Swagger’s ribs are wrapped up and he looks pretty unsteady to start. In fact, he tries to hoist Rusev and can’t pull it off. Then again, Rusev’s ankle still smarts from all those ankle locks from Swagger so each dude is less than 100%. Swagger does get another Patrior Lock on Rusev but the big guy squirms to the ropes prompting a break. They brawl outside of the ring going into the commercial.

After some advertisements, we’re back into the thick of things. Swagger looks to come back but Rusev has things pretty well covered. Swagger breaks Rusev’s dominance by landing a standing Patriot Lock and Rusev scrambles back into the ring. Ge keeps working the leg and ankle, finally plastering Rusev with a big kick and a splash. Rusev comes back with an ankle lock of his own, Swagger turns it around in kind of a cool spot and locks it in pretty good but Rusev won’t tap no matter what. He gets to the rope, Swagger breaks and tries to lock in the other leg. Rusev wiggles out, Lana gives the signat to “crussssh!” and the Bulgarian behemoth puts Swags in the clutch. Swagger reaches the ropes and Rusev breaks again. The match seems surprisingly long at this point. Rusev works Swagger’s lower back and locks in the clutch far enough from the ropes that Swagger can’t force a break. Swagger starts to stand up and power out and a towel is thrown into the ring. Bo Dallas is shown as the man responsible for this. The ref calls for the bell as Rusev settles down with the clutch again.

Result: Rusev defeats Jack Swagger via submission.

He says that he has had the honor of representing this country twice in the Olympic Games. Those will always be two of his proudest moments. He never had a problem with anyone who believe in their country and flag, except for you two jackasses.

Mark says that it got under his skin last night to see that flag raised in his country. Mark says that it made him sick to his stomach. He tells Lana he is not talking to her. Rusev vs. Jack Swagger: Flag Match

Lana dedicated the match to Vladimir Putin. She cut a promo on Hollywood being fake like America. They brought out a color guard with the U.S. Flag before Swagger’s entrance. Rusev attacked Swagger as he was waving the flag and beat him with a series of right hands. Swagger nailed him and locked on the Patriot Lock before the bell. The referee separated them. Lana began yelling at Rusev who now had to fight on a bad wheel.

Swagger charged him in the corner at the bell and went right back after the ankle. Rusev went to the floor. Swagger went to the floor and tossed him back in. Swagger went right back after the ankle again. Swagger clotheslined Rusev on the floor.

Swagger went for the Swagger Bomb off the ropes but Rusev pulled his knees up. The announcers said Swagger was dealing with injured knees so now we had two hurt wrestlers competing. Rusev worked over his back and ribs, dropping a headbutt across it. Swagger was trapped in a bear hug. He fired back with elbows and went for a belly to belly suplex. Rusev drilled him and continued working over the back. They battled back and forth. Swagger nailed a big kick and nailed the Swagger Bomb but hurt his ribs and only got a two count.

Swagger was caught with an elbow as he charged. Swagger nailed his ankle and hit a belly to belly suplex for a two count. Rusev went after the ribs again and killed Swagger with the leaping thrust kick. Rusev went to lock on the Accolade but his ankle was hurt and he had problems getting it on, so he did a one legged version while standing on his knee. This allowed Swagger some room to reverse it into the ankle lock. Rusev tried to get to the ropes but was pulled back. He turned over onto his back and nailed a number of shots to the ribs to get Swagger off of him. Rusev nailed a big splash and locked on the Accolade, and Rusev’s expression of pain putting the move on was awesome. Swagger refused to tap but blacked out so the referee called it.

Your winner, Rusev!

Lana got in Zeb Colter’s face after and gave him a mocking “We the People.” She then ordered Rusev to kick Colter when he wasn’t looking. They raised a GIANT Russian Flag as Rusev and Lana stood proudly over the beaten Americans.
